We wanted to stop in Tucson for supper, but the place we went to was boarded up. We kept going east and pulled off at Benson. We've always had good luck with Italian restaurants on the road, so we pulled into Galleanos instead of other choices. SWMBO ordered the linguine with scallops and shrimp; I chose the chicken parm sandwich. Both were delicious. The pasta was obviously fresh. The seafood was excellent for the middle of Arizona (or anywhere). My sandwich had two lightly breaded chicken breasts stacked on top of each other. Lots of cheese and a smear of marinara sauce. Next time I'll order the sandwich "sloppy" as there wasn't enough sauce for my liking. Even the small but adequate salad bar was great. AND a never empty ice tea glass. Can't recommend this place too highly. We'll be back.
