An easy (and tasty) way out for the office crowd

This cafe makes the typical sandwich/soup/salad carryout lunch fare for those working in the Washington Ave. office buildings or jurying in the courthouse. While I can't say that they do anything new or exciting, I can say that I've "forgotten" my packed lunch at home more than a few times, because Cafe Gourmet's Veggie Delight sandwich just sounded so much better. It's mounded with lettuce, tomatoes, sprouts, cucumber, carrots, two kinds of cheese . . . and it's yummy! (Don't worry -- they have plenty of meaty sandwich offerings, too: clubs, reubens, french dip, and so forth).
