Dreadful service...substandard food

I had a regrettable experience at Morris Thai. The restaurant had very few customers for a Friday night and we were greeted by the manger (short asian guy). We waited unusually long for the waiter (we had to call him) to take our order for the starters. We ordered satay chicken and curry puff- we got small potions (compared to other Thai places) and below average quality.


For the main course we had the manger to take our order, he was very grumpy (? a bad day at work) He was in no mood to answer questions on the food and rushed through our orders. For the main course waitress bought us unclean plates (speck of food)…she later took it back with an apology.


The main course too was below standard and we had badly fried duck in duck curry. The peak experience came at the end when the manger insisted us to pay 15% tip (we decided to pay just 10% because of our bad experience). Altogether it was an unforgettable experience and decided not to step in or recommend the place to anyone
